Terms of Service

Last updated: April 7, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Veroxa ("the Service"), operated by Vantage Mode ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veroxa is a family law case management platform that helps users organize custody cases, track incidents, manage visitation schedules, log communications, store documents, track expenses and finances, find attorneys, and manage children's medical and family information.

3. Not Legal Advice

Veroxa is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The Service, including the child support calculator, provides general information and tools for organizational purposes only. No attorney-client relationship is created by using Veroxa. The child support calculator provides estimates based on simplified state guidelines and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult a licensed attorney for legal advice specific to your situation.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any court order; (b) harass, threaten, or intimidate any person through the Service; (c) upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data; (e) use the Service to violate any restraining order, protection order, or no-contact order; (f) scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service; (g) impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity; (h) use the Service to facilitate any form of abuse. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Protection Orders and Safety

Veroxa includes safety features that detect active restraining orders and protection orders on your case and provide warnings before contact actions. These warnings are informational only and do not constitute legal advice. You are solely responsible for complying with all court orders, including no-contact provisions. Veroxa is not liable for any violation of court orders resulting from use of the Service.

7. User Content and Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create on Veroxa, including case information, documents, communications, photographs, journal entries, financial records, and medical information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. We will never sell your personal data or case information to third parties.

8. Data Usage

Your data is used solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

How your data is protected:
• All data is stored with row-level security and field-level encryption where applicable.
• Your individual case data, documents, and personal information are never shared with third parties.
• We store conversation metadata (questions asked, timestamps, feedback signals) in our database for analytics purposes only.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated patterns - such as the most commonly asked question categories - to improve the quality of responses and suggested questions. This data is stripped of all personally identifiable information before analysis.
• We will never sell, license, or share your case details, names, court documents, or personal information with any third party.
• Feedback you provide on responses (thumbs up/down) may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve response quality.

Data retention and deletion policies are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Attorney Directory and Communications

The attorney directory displays profiles of licensed attorneys. Veroxa does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the services of any listed attorney. Inquiries and messages sent through Veroxa to attorneys do not create an attorney-client relationship unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties. Attorney ratings and reviews are provided by users and may not reflect current or accurate information.

10. Children's Information

Veroxa allows parents to store information about their children, including names, dates of birth, medical records, school information, and special needs. This information is entered by parents (not by children directly) and is protected by our security measures including row-level security, encryption capabilities, and access controls. You represent that you have legal authority to enter information about your children and consent to its storage on the Service.

11. Medical Information

The Service allows storage of children's medical information including medications, allergies, conditions, provider details, and insurance information. Veroxa is not a HIPAA-covered entity. While we implement security measures to protect medical data (including audit logging and access controls), you should not store highly sensitive medical information that requires HIPAA-level compliance unless you accept this limitation. Medical information stored on Veroxa is for your personal case management purposes only.

12. Financial Information

The Service allows you to track income, assets, debts, child support obligations, and upload financial documents (tax returns, bank statements). Financial data is stored securely and is accessible only to you. The child support calculator provides estimates and does not account for all factors a court may consider. Do not use calculator estimates as the sole basis for legal decisions.

13. Document Storage

Documents uploaded to Veroxa are stored in secure cloud storage (Supabase Storage) with per-user access controls. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of all uploaded documents. While we take reasonable measures to protect your documents, we are not responsible for data loss. We recommend keeping backup copies of all important legal documents.

14. Subscription and Billing

Veroxa offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid features include case exports, printable reports, expense approvals, and connected services. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Free trial periods do not require payment information unless specified.

15. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16. Security

We implement security measures including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), row-level database security, two-factor authentication (optional), security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), audit logging, and field-level encryption capabilities. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication to protect your account.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEROXA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LEGAL OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veroxa and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any court order; (d) any content you upload or transmit through the Service.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.

20. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
