Court prep
Exporting your case for court
When you are ready to bring your documentation into court or an attorney meeting, the Export tab produces a branded, court-ready PDF or DOCX of your case.
What the export covers
A complete, chronological record of your case, organized into sections court readers expect. Cover page, summary statistics, timelines for incidents and visits, financial records, supporting documents, and a full change history audit trail.
Sections are toggleable before generating, skip what is not relevant to a specific hearing.
PDF vs DOCX
- PDF: what you bring to court. Locked formatting, print-ready.
- DOCX: what your attorney can annotate. Same content.
Filtering
You can narrow the export by date range, by child, or by record type. Useful when prepping for a specific hearing.
Common questions
Can I print and bring it to court? Yes. The PDF is formatted for letter-size paper. Court clerks expect this format.
Are timestamps provable? Yes. Every record stores a creation time that cannot be backdated, and an audit log captures every edit.
Can I share the export with my attorney? Yes. Download and email it, or invite them as an attorney user (see Inviting your attorney).
